Donald P. Feigelson, DPM
Donald Feigelson was born in New York but raised in Dayton Ohio. He attended Miami University of Ohio and graduated with a B.A. in Zoology and, while there he realized his passion was medicine. He graduated the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio in 1975. While in school, he helped finance his education by working in the blood bank at the Cleveland Clinic.
Soon after graduation, Dr. Feigelson met his wife Nancy and relocated to Los Angeles where he completed his Surgical Residency at the Southern California Podiatric Medical Center. He began Private Practice in 1976 and shortly there after, along with Nancy, began raising their two daughters. He started the Foot Center with Dr. Oswell in 1996 and has been on staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for the past twenty five years.
While on staff at Cedars Sinai Medical Center Dr. Feigelson has been active within his Department. He served as Clinical Director of the Ambulatory Podiatry Clinic. He also served as Chief of the Division of Podiatric Surgery as well as Secretary. He is involved in the education process and enjoys working with the Podiatry Residents. He has been a member of the teaching faculty at Midway Hospital, Los Angeles County USC Medical Center and at the California College of Podiatric Medicine. He has also served as a Commissioner for the State Licensing exam for Podiatry.
Dr. Feigelson enjoys all aspects of Podiatric Medicine ranging from Pediatric Conditions to Biomechanics to Orthopedics. He especially likes the challenges of Podiatric Surgery and is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a member of several Podiatry organizations at the local and state level including the Los Angeles County Podiatric Medical Society, The California Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Although being in Private Practice for the past thirty years has taken up a lot of his time, Dr. Feigelson still manages to enjoy travel and outdoor activities. When he's not at the Foot Center, you can find Dr. Feigelson either on the golf course, in his garage "tinkering" or spending time with his wife, Nancy and their two daughters, Michele and Rachael.
